Jimmy Rollins edged out Colorado Outfielder Matt Holiday by 5 votes to win the National League's MVP. Rollins did it all this year breaking team and league records. Rollins became the fourth player in baseball history to have 20 homers, 20 doubles, 20 triples, and 20 steals in a season, joining the likes of Willie Mays and Frank Schulte. Jimmy Rollins has been loyal to the city of Philadelphia and stepped up big time when he was needed the most. I could not be any happier seeing another Phil winning an MVP.

he defiantly deserved it. he played every game this year and plays a premium position. Holiday plays left field and hits in what is likely the best power hitting ball park, humidor or not. If the Brewers had made the playoffs, even if the Mets had made the playoffs take my word for it Fielder and Wright would defiantly be serious contenders. Congrats to Rollins though. just imagine what that infield would have looked like with Lowell at third. Get some more pitching and the Phillies will be contenders every year.
